On January 13, after months long retrograde that started on October 30, 2022, Mars finally will start to go direct in Taurus in the nakshatra of Rohini. Mars is stationary on Thursday, January 12, meaning it is extra, super powerful in this position. On January 13 (yes, Friday the 13th), it will move direct.
Taurus is the natural second house of the zodiac and represents security, speech, values, and the throat. It’s not surprising that there were rises in flu, cold and coughs during this time. Taurus is symbolized by the bull and Mars is like a charging bull, wanting to push forward with his agenda, but his energy and motivation to stay focused is channeled through impulsivity and aggression. It’s not uncommon to have felt irritable and unsettled these last few months.
Rohini represents growth and forward movement and is symbolized by a chariot. Mars in Rohini suggests freedom and his desire for independence can bring about stubbornness and rigidity.
